padding: 0cm 5.4pt; height: 2px; vertical-align: top; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family:tahoma;"><strong><span style="font-size:12.0pt;">بحث و نتیجه&shy; گیری</span>: &nbsp;</strong><span style="font-size:10.0pt;">در این مطالعه ارتباط بین وجود ویروس اپشتین بار با سرطان پستان در زنان مبتلا به این بیماری در استان لرستان معنی دار بوده که نشان می‌دهد ویروس اپشتین&shy;بار می‌تواند یکی از دلایل ایجاد سرطان پستان باشد گرچه بررسی های اپیدمیولوژیکی، بیولوژیکی و مولکولی بیشتری مورد نیاز است تا مکانیسم دخالت این ویروس در فرایند سرطان زایی روشن گردد.</span></span><span style="font-family:b nazanin;"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;"></span></span></td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <p dir="RTL"><div style="clear:both;"></div></p> <p dir="RTL" style="text-align: left;"><strong><em>Background:</em></strong> Breast cancer is one of the most common malignancies in the world, and early diagnosis of this cancer is a key factor in its treatment. This cancer is a multi-stage disease, in which viruses can play a role. EBV is known as an important factor in the development of some human cancers. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the relationship between Epstein-Barr virus, EBV, and breast cancer.<br> <strong><em>Materials and Methods:</em></strong> Thirty-two paraffin blocks from patients with lung mass or breast tumor were collected from Khorramabad Shohada Aschary Hospital. Thirty normal individuals with the same age were selected for the control group. Extraction of EBV-DNA was performed using Sina Clone. To evaluate the DNA quality extracted from the nano-droplet and PCR, samples were used for the presence of the beta-actin gene. Then appropriate samples of EBV-DNA were evaluated for PCR. Data was analyzed by the chi-square test and SPSS.16 software.<br> <strong><em>Results:</em></strong> Of 32 samples of breast cancer, 11 cases (34.3%) and 30 controls (2.6%) were positive for the presence of EBR-DNA in the Chi-square test.
