fa بررسی فراوانی و علل شکایات دندانپزشکی شهرستان خرم آباد در طی سال‌های 95-1391 Prevalence and causes of dental malpractice in Khorramabad, Iran during 2012-2016 دندانپزشکی پژوهشي اصیل Original Research <a name="_Hlk108218880"></a> <table align="right" class="Table" dir="rtl" style="width:596px; border-collapse:collapse; margin-left:9px; margin-right:9px" width="596"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="width: 596px; padding: 0in 7px; height: 1px; text-align: justify;" valign="top">مقدمه: امروزه میزان نارضایتی و شکایت بیماران رو به افزایش نهاده است. که یکی از علل اصلی آن  عدم آگاهی صاحبان دندانپزشکی از مسائل حقوقی و مقررات حاکم بر حرفهی دندانپزشکی و مسئولیت آنها در قبال بیماران می‌باشد. اطلاع از وضعیت و فراوانی این شکایات می تواند راهنمایی در کاهش میزان شکایات باشد. بنابراین هدف از این مطالعه بررسی شکایات دندانپزشکی واصله به سازمان پزشکی قانونی و نظام پزشکی شهرستان خرم آباد در سال های 1391 تا 1395 بود. مواد و روش ها: در این مطالعه‌ی توصیفی به صورت مقطعی، پرونده شکایات مربوط به درمان های دندانپزشکی واصله به سازمان پزشکی قانونی و  نظام پزشکی شهرستان خرم آباد در سالهای 95-1391 مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. متغیرهای متعددی از بیمار و دندانپزشک و همچنین نوع قصور مورد ثبت قرار گرفته و تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها توسط نرم افزار SPSS22 انجام شد. یافته ها: در این مطالعه از مجموع 73 پرونده شکایت، 65 پرونده مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. به طوری که میانگین سنی بیماران 65/10±49/33 سال، بیشترین افراد شاکی زنان (3/59 %)، بیشترین رده سنی 45-30سال (5/41 %)، دارای تحصیلات دانشگاهی (2/26 %) یا دیپلم (6/24 %) و ساکن شهر (8/%70) بودند. همچنین بیشترین فاصله بین زمان درمان تا زمان ثبت شکایت کمتر از یکسال(1/72 %) بوده است. در این پرونده ها بیشتر متشاکیان مردان (5/87 %)، با سطح تحصیلات دندانپزشک عمومی(7/54 %) و رای‌های نهایی قصور(1/49 %) بودند. 32 % از قصورات از نوع صرفاً بی‌مبالاتی و در حیطه درمان بیشتر شکایت‌های مربوط به جراحی به تنهایی (8/33 %) است. بحث و نتیجه گیری: بر اساس یافته‌های این مطالعه بیشتر شاکیان خانم، و بیشتر متشاکیان آقا بودند. از طرفی بیشتر متشاکیان دندانپزشک عمومی بوده و تعداد زیادی از شکایات مربوط به حیطه ی جراحی بود. لذا برای کاهش وقوع این قبیل خطاها و محدود کردن پیامدهای آنها، پیگیری و ارتقا دانش دندانپزشکان عمومی خصوصاً در حیطه درمان های جراحی احساس می شود. همچنین ارتقا سطح آموزش و ارائه آموزش‌های کاربردی برای دانشجویان دندانپزشکی به عنوان راهکار زیر بنایی در افزایش کیفیت و ماندگاری درمان ها و کاهش وقوع این قبیل خطاها و محدود کردن پیامدهای آنها، لازم است مد نظر قرار گیرد.</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <div style="text-align: justify;">Background: Dental malpractice claims have increased in recent years. Investigating the reasons for dental malpractice can help dentists overcome this issue by providing high-quality service and promoting patient safety. This study aims to investigate the prevalence of malpractice in dentistry in Khorramabad, Iran and its possible reasons. Materials and Methods: In this descriptive cross-sectional study, we examined all closed cases of dental malpractice registered by the forensic medicine organization and the medical system in Khorramabad, Iran during 2012-2016, and evaluated contributing factors including demographic factors and type of malpractice. Data analysis was performed in SPSS v.22 software. Results: Out of 73 complaint cases, 65 were evaluated in this study. The mean age of patients was 33.49±10.65. Most of complainants were female (59.3%) aged  30-45 years (41.5%), with a university degree (26.2%), residing in urban areas (70.8%). The maximum interval between the time of treatment and the time of complaint registration was less than one year (72.1%). The majority of complaints were against male dentists (87.5%) with general dentistry education (54.7%). The most frequent final verdict was the malpractice of dentist (49.1%). The majority of malpractices were from negligence type (32%), and most of the complaints were related to performing surgery alone (33.8%). Conclusion: Most of the dentists with malpractice in Khorramabad city are male general dentists, mostly in the field of surgery. Most of complainants are females.
