Percentage of successful response to itching and vaginal discharge in users of myrtus vaginal cream was more than users of clotrimazol vaginal cream . (p<0/002) . The first positive culture results between myrtus and cloteimazol group (7.5%vs 17.5%) and secound positive culture results (15% vs 25.6%) were similar within the 2 groups , with no significant statistical difference . Conclusion: Both the myrtus and clotrimazol creams significantly reduced all signs and symptoms of vaginal candidiasis, however use of myrtus vaginal cram was found to be more effective in the treatment of the most common symptoms of vaginal candidiasis . therefore , use of myrtus vaginal cream is suggested for treatment of vaginal candidasis .
