Abstract
Background : Performance of hospital managers need to be evaluated based on suitable criteria to get better performance. Unfortunately no formal and systematical performance assessment system has been used to evaluate managers. The aim of this study is to determine the concrete and suitable hospital managers, performance assessment using experts, views.
Materials and Methods: This study was a qualitative research with thematic analysis method. By using semi structured questionnaire with 2 health system experts interview was conducted and 20 experts participated in focus group discussion. After each interview and group discussion withdrawals were checked with participants. The initial interviews were analyzed by two faculty members and then were combined.
Results: 7 main themes about necessary criteria for hospital managers, performance assessment were obtained from experts, views. These themes are: skills related to planning, organization and staff performance management, leadership, information management, clinical governance and performance indicators.
Conclusion: All participants in the study had a history of hospital management therefore their comments will be an effective step in identifying the criteria for making hospital managers, performance assessment tool. In addition to Professionals, perspectives and studies done in other countries, in order to design this kind of tools, it is necessary to adjust the obtained findings according to the local hospital conditions.

Abstract
Background: Chronic inflammation plays a major role in the progression of diabetes and its cardiovascular complications. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effects of probiotic yoghurt on blood sugar and C-Reactive Protein concentration as inflammatory factor in type 2 diabetic patients.
Materials and Methods: This double-blind, randomized clinical trial was conducted on 60 type 2 diabetic patients (23 males and 37 females) in Sina hospital in Tabriz. Subjects in intervention group consumed daily 300 gram of probiotic yoghurt containing Lactobacillus acidophilus LA-5 and Bifidobacterium lactis BB-12 and subjects in control group consumed daily 300 gram of conventional yoghurt for 6 weeks. Dietary intakes, anthropometric measurements and biochemical parameters were measured at the baseline and at the end of the study. Statistical analyses were performed by SPSS software using analysis of covariance and paired samples T-test.
Results: Probiotic yoghurt consumption significantly decreased C-Reactive Protein concentration (P<0.05).The mean fasting blood sugar and glycosylated hemoglobin were significantly lower in probiotic yoghurt group compared with the control group after intervention (P<0.05
Conclusion: Consumption of probiotic yoghurt improved C-Reactive Protein concentration in type 2 diabetic patients. Probiotic yoghurt consumption is recommended as auxiliary therapy in type 2 diabetic patients.

Abstract
Background: Quality of health care includes some degree of services provided to individuals and communities to increase the likelihood of desired results and are updated in accordance with professional knowledge. To assess the quality of services provided in hospitals, indicators and performance standards are needed to be identified, because these indicators are the structure of the hospital evaluation. This study aimed to determine the performance indicators in general- public hospitals in area of quality and effectiveness and prioritization of these indicators. Materials and Methods: This descriptive-qualitative and practical research was done through a systematic review of literature and data were obtained from the hospital authorities. In order to prioritize public hospital performance indicators, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was used and the results were analyzed by the Expert Choice software. Results: In the field of quality and effectiveness, 73 performance indicators were considering at various texts. Indicators such as the rate of hospital infections (100%), the incidence of hospital events (72%), Net hospital mortality(63%), Percentage of patients' satisfaction(53%) selected as key performance indicators. Conclusion: Performance indicators in the field of quality and effectiveness has important place in health system and hospital organization. By evaluating the quality of services in health centers, the problems and shortcomings can be seen, and consequently analyzing information can lead to a try to reduce them.
