Abstract
Abstract Background: For long time medical scientists have speculated about alleviation of pain so that they have attempted to prescribe a potent analgesic with the least side effects. There are some records in Iranian traditional medicine showing that Elaeagnus angustifolia L. decreases inflammation and pain. Therefore, in this study the analgesic effect of the aqueous extracts of E. angustifolia leaves was evaluated on male rats. Materials and methods: The analgesic effect of the extract was studied using formalin test on 35 male rats. Decoction extracts of the leaves with 25, 50, 100 (mg/kgw/ip) concentration were prepared and used. The reaction of the extracts against pain were assessed in comparison to a routine non-steroid anti–inflammatory and pain drug (Diclofenac 5 mg/kgw/hp). Results: The extract had a significant and dose-dependent analgesic effect on both pain phases that were induced by formalin and it was more potent than the effect of Diclofenac. Conclusion: The extract of E. angustifolia leaves has the optimal reaction against pain and this effect is produced peripherally and centrally. The E. angustifolia leaves contain flavonoids and terpenoids and the analgesic effect of extract is probably from the anti– inflammatory reactions of these materials.

Abstract
Background : Knowledge of healthcare providers, about ethical and legal aspects of healthcare, prepares providing conditions of patients, right. The aim ofthisstudy is to determine the knowledge of healthcare providers about legal aspects of medical records in teaching hospitals affiliated to Lorestan university of medical sciences in 2010.
Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional study, 210 healthcare providers, selected randomly, including physicians, nurses and medical record personnel were surveyed and data gathered by a valid questionnaire designed based on regulations related to health information, related experts and reference texts. Data were analyzed through the mean score(± SD)of correct responses and SPSS software.
Results: The knowledge level of healthcare providers was moderate about legal aspect of confidentiality (3.79 ± 1.13 from 9 points), informed consent (4.47 ± 1.62 from 10 points) and issuing certificates (3.40 ± 1.52 from 11 points). Totally, the knowledge level was moderate (11.72± 4.53 from 30 points). Physicians had more knowledge and nurses less.
Conclusion: Educating legal aspects related to medical records including confidentiality, informed consent, and especially issuing certificates for all of healthcare providers specially nurses seems necessary.

Abstract
Background: Matricaria chamomilla (MC) contains flavonoids such as apigenine which exerts benzodiazepine-like activity, therefore it may be helpful for morphine withdrawal syndrome treatment. In this study the effects of peripheral (ip) injection of MC hydroalcoholic extract was investigated on morphine withdrawal syndrome signs in rats.
Material &Methods: 24Male Wistar rats (200-250gr) were addicted with morphine injections twice a day for 7 days. Then the animals were divided into 4 groups (n= 6): Control group (saline) and three chamomile groups that received chamomile extract (10, 25, 50 mg/kg/ip), 30 min before naloxone administration. In the test day, all groups were received naloxone (5mg/kg/ip) 3h after last injection of morphine and then the withdrawal behavior (jumping, climbing) were assessed for 30 minute. The obtained data were analyzed using ANOVA.
Results: Our results showed that, all three doses of MC extract which were injected intraperitoneally, attenuated dose-dependently most of morphine withdrawal signs such as jumping and climbing(P <0.001).
Conclusion: These results suggest that, the intra-peritoneal injection of MC extract can reduces effectively morphine withdrawal syndrome in rats. Therefore it is necessary to study its effect on humans and also identify its effective components.

Abstract
Background : A number of studies have shown a clear relationship between diet and component of metabolic syndrome. Based on the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA), attitude and subjective norm are factors affecting behavioral intention and subsequently behavior. The aim of the present study is to design a valid questionnaire identifying factors affecting nutritional behavior among patients with metabolic syndrome.
Materials and Methods: Via literature review, six focus group discussion and interview with nutrition specialists were performed to develop an instrument based on the theory of reasoned action. To determine validity of the instrument, content and face validity analyses with 15 expert panels conducted and also to determine reliability, Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient performed.
Results: A draft of 100 items questionnaire was developed and after evaluation of validity and reliability, final questionnaire included 46 items: 17 items for attitude, 13 items for subjective norms and 16 items for behavioral intention. For the final questionnaire average of content validity index was 0/92 and Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient was 0/85.
Conclusion: Based on the results of the current study the developed questionnaire is a valid and reliable instrument and it can be used to identify factors affecting nutritional behavior among people with metabolic syndrome based on the theory of reasoned action.
