Introduction: Developmental and behavioral disorders are the most common problems in pediatrics. The development of motor skills, language and social skills is one of the important issues in the development of fundamental skills in the early years of life and if not properly evaluated can cause the prevalence of developmental disorders. The use of standard tools with appropriate validity and reliability is one of the most important factors that lead to scientific achievements. Therefore, the present study was conducted to evaluate the development of gross motor, fine motor, language and personal- social skills of children aged 6 to 18 months in Khorramabad based on the Denver 2.
Materials and Methods: The study population of this study was all children aged 6 to 18 months in Khorramabad, from which 120 children (55 girls and 65 boys) participated. DDST- ll (Frankenburg and Dodds ,1990 ) was used to assess of gross and fine motor development , language development and development of individual-social skills . Sampling was performed by available method.
 Results: No significant difference was observed between large and fine motor development scores of Khorramabad and Denver children. However, children in Khorramabad were more mature in the developmental of personal-social skills than children in Denver, but had a developmental delay in the developmental of language.
Conclusion: This test covers a wide range of developmental aspects from birth to 6years of age, its use is recommended in health, educational and counseling centers.
